Eliza S Robinson

Eliza S Robinson is the author of The Purest Form of Chaos. She writes novels, blogs, poetry, and the occasional poorly-worded author bio. When Eliza isn’t writing your future favourite novel, live-tweeting her romantic mishaps, or stress-watching Grey’s Anatomy, she is a master's student in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies at the University of Glasgow. Eliza’s passions include: astrology, feminism, wearing as much purple as humanly possible, and running away to the Baltic States the moment life gets boring.

The Opposite of Permanence

When the pandemic hit, most of my friends moved away practically overnight. As a university student, I had grown used to not seeing my friends for months at a time. Whenever summer comes around, one[…]

When You Gaze Long Into The Abyss…Write A Blog About It

The unfortunate truth about life is that “this, too, shall pass” also applies to the good things. As my time at university comes to its premature end, I gaze into the abyss of my empty[…]

Mourning the Minutiae

March 20, 2020 Eliza S RobinsonUncategorized

There have been periods in my life where it felt like the story ended mid-sentence. I spent days, or weeks, or months waiting for the wheel of fortune to spin, aching for a second chance.[…]

The Final Act

February 27, 2020February 27, 2020 Eliza S RobinsonUncategorized

I don’t spend much time thinking about Italian Neorealism. When it comes to filmic styles, I’m more of a classic realism, three-act structure kind of girl. I like my narratives to make sense. Life, for[…]

December Dreams

As the year comes to a close, the questions of what we value and who we want to be become more prominent. Time is a man-made construct, but we continue to measure ourselves against it,[…]
